The Columbus Cottonmouths hockey team will have its annual Tip-a-Snake charity dinner Tuesday.
Co-hosted by TIC Federal Credit Union, all of the money collected goes to the Children's Miracle Network at the Medical Center. The event raises an average of $30,000 a year.
The hockey players will put on tuxedos and serve as waiters for the meal. Players will sing and dance for tips.
A silent auction will be at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m.

Individual tickets are $50.
The Cottonmouths, fighting for an SPHL playoff spot, are home tonight against Richmond and Saturday against first place Knoxville. The first 1,000 fans tonight receive player cards.
