New DVD highlights: Catch Darjeeling

Robert Zemeckis' big, loud retelling of "Beowulf" might be the big mover of today's DVD releases, but the steady, rumbling "Darjeeling Limited" is the train that ought not to be missed.

"Darjeeling," starring Adrien Brody, a battered Owen Wilson and a grown-up Jason Schwartzman, is director Wes Anderson's (of "Rushmore" and "Royal Tenenbaums" fame) most mature work. But that doesn't mean it's not still lots of retro-adolescent fun, as three brothers reconnect on a cross-country Indian train ride not long after the death of their father.

Aside from that and "Beowulf" (which is in 2-D, begging the question: "What's the point?"), look for vampire tale "30 Days of Night," "Goya's Ghost," and, um, "National Lampoon Presents Jake's Booty Call."
