Columbus is extending the deadline for residents to offer their input into the city's 2028 Comprehensive Plan.
The deadline for filling out a survey now is March 15. Folks can find the survey online at www.jjg.com/ccgplan or pick up a hard-copy form at local libraries or at the city's Government Annex, 420 10th St. They also can have a survey mailed to them by calling 706-653-4116. Available in English and Spanish, the survey takes about 10 minutes to complete.
The Comprehensive Plan gives city leaders policy guidance on land use and development for the next 20 years. The survey addresses issues such as financing, housing, economic development, natural resources and growth at Fort Benning.
