A fire Wednesday night that caused an estimated $30,000 damage to a 1996 Bravo road tractor is under investigation by Columbus Fire & Emergency Medical Services.
Fire investigator Phillip Nolin said a Columbus police officer refueling his patrol car spotted the flames at 12:16 a.m. Thursday and called it in. When firefighters arrived, he said the truck parked at Waggoner's Truck Transport, 712 10th Ave., was fully involved.
Due to the extent of the damage, investigators have not determined the cause or where the fire originated.
