Christopher L. McKinnon, 18, 4928Mehaffey St., Columbus, was charged Thursday with the Jan. 27 burglary of Rogers Grocery & Rib Shop, 4950 Steam Mill Road. An undisclosed number of coins were reported taken.
McKinnon received a preliminary hearing in Columbus Recorder's Court Friday and was ordered bound over to Muscogee County Superior Court. The case is expected to be presented to a Muscogee County grand jury.
A camera outside the business captured the image of two suspects at the rear of the business, which was turned over to police. Police, in turn, provided copies of the picture to local news media.
