Chattahoochee Valley Community College faculty, staff and students will be exchanging textbooks for hammers and hard hats this week to build a Habitat for Humanity home.
The house will be built this week in Sandfort Hills, a subdivision off Sandfort Road. Employees and students signed up to provide manpower the entire week.
The college has also been the host site for Habitat for Humanity’s Collegiate Challenge for several years. About 100 students from across the United States make CVCC’s gymnasium their home. CVCC faculty, staff and students will provide snacks and access to entertainment.
