Grants of up to $3,000 per year for two years are available for military spouses to complete post-secondary education or training at any two-year community or technical college in Georgia, according to a press release.
Soldiers must be between the rank of private and sergeant or second lieutenant and captain, and have one year remaining at Fort Benning and two years remaining on current enlistment.
The grant can also be used for training that will lead to state-approved credential or license, which includes continuing education credit or approved education service provider.
