Gasoline hit another all-time high today in Columbus.
The average price of regular unleaded climbed to $3.224 per gallon, according to the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report. It is five-tenths higher than Wednesday.
That's up from $2.94 per gallon a month ago and $2.41 per gallon on March 13 a year ago.
The highest average recorded in Georgia today is $3.26 per gallon in Savannah, also a record high for that city.
The state's lowest average can be found in Augusta, which is just under $3.13 per gallon.
Diesel also continues to rise, hitting its own record high of $3.90 per gallon today in Columbus.
On the national front, the average for regular unleaded today is $3.27 per gallon, an all-time high, AAA reported. Diesel also is having a record performance, reaching $3.91 per gallon.
