There will be auditions for singers and dancers and children who can sing, dance and act for "The Lion King."
The popular Disney musical production based on the movie will be casting for its Atlanta run.
These are open calls for anyone who would like to be part of this stage musical, which will be performed in the Atlanta Civic Center April 3-May 4. Tickets are $21-$63, and are available through www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 404-817-8700.
Celise Hicks, the dance supervisor for the play, and a native of Atlanta, will be conducting the dance auditions.

Jennifer Rudin Pearson, director of casting and talent development for Disney Theatrical Productions, will be casting the acting roles.
Hicks and Pearson are looking for singers for all roles, including Simba and Nala.
The auditions begin at 9:30 a.m. April 11. Sign-in no later than 11 a.m. All singers should bring sheet music of a song that shows off your voice and range in 16 bars that you will sing with piano accompaniment.
Children should be ages 8-12, with a maximum height limit of 4-feet-10-inches. These children must be able to sing, dance and act in the roles of African lion cubs Simba and Nala.
The children's auditions begin at 9:30 a.m. April 12, with sign-in no later than 11 a.m. Children must sing the last verse of "Just Can't Wait to be King." All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who must remain at the auditions at all times.
Dancers must have a classical or modern dance background with some male dancers requiring strong acrobatic skills. Dancers must be warmed up and ready to dance in flat jazz shoes or bare feet.
Auditions for women dancers begin at 9:30 a.m. April 14, with auditions for male dancers at 1:30 p.m.
Dancers may be asked to sing. Bring sheet music for a song that will show off your voice and range. A pianist will be provided.
All auditions will be at Studio Dionne, School of Dance and Music, 524 Plasters Avenue (near Monroe and Armour drives at I-85).
