Phenix City store robbed at gunpoint

A Phenix City store was robbed by two armed men Wednesday morning.

At about 11 a.m., two black men entered Sue's Market on 10th Avenue South armed with a gun, Phenix City police Capt. Frank Ivey said.

They took an undisclosed amount of cash from the store and fled on foot.

The men are described as being in their late teens or early 20s, wearing grey and black hoodie pullovers, blue jeans and red scarfs over their faces.

Ivey said police have no suspects at this time.
