Electronic payment processor TSYS said Thursday it has signed a contract to do business with Standard Bank of South Africa.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
TSYS, headquartered in Columbus, said it will help the bank issue cards, process them, set up merchant businesses and handle other payment-related services.
Standard Bank does business in 18 African nations and in 20 other nations across Europe, the Americas and Asia.

The bank has 712 branches in South Africa and 239 in the rest of Africa.
