A Senate Bill now in the Georgia House would let property owners' associations go to court over enforcing their covenants.
The bill, currently in the Governmental Affairs committee, would allow associations to sue over violations of their codes. It also would restrict those organizations from stopping residents from hanging Mezuzahs - a parchment with Biblical inscriptions hung from doorposts.
