The last of eight public forums to promote a 1-percent city sales tax will be held Tuesday night at Double Churches Middle School. The forum starts at 6 p.m.
Columbus Mayor Jim Wetherington has proposed a Local Option Sales Tax that will be on the July 15 ballot. The tax, which could raise as much as $36 million per year, will fund public safety and road improvements.
