Eat a good breakfast and get a good night's sleep — testing begins next week for children in grades second through eighth in Phenix City and Russell County schools.
Schools will be administering the Stanford Achievement Test and the Alabama Math and Reading Test, March 31 through April 11.
The scores from these tests will be used to determine if the schools meet adequate yearly progress, a testing standard set by the federal No Child Left Behind Act.
