Drug dealers' jobs could get more risky

A bill under consideration in the Georgia House would add another spot to a list of places that, if drugs are sold nearby, add penalties to drug dealers' sentences.

Senate Bill 453 adds state parks to a list of places that nets dealers an additional charge, if they sell within 1,000 feet of the spot. Other places already on the list include schools and public housing.

The House Rules Committee is expected to examine the issue today.
