St. Luke hosts fundraiser for Wesley Glen Ministries

The Rev. Helen Berenthien of St. Luke United Methodist Church will be roasted and honored in a benefit for Wesley Glen Ministries at 7 p.m. April 17 at the Ministry Center, 11th Street and Third Avenue. A silent auction begins at 5 p.m. Established in 1984, Wesley Glen Ministries serves adults with mental disabilities by providing a home environment and continuum of programs to allow each individual to develop skills and greater confidence, and become contributing members of Wesley Glen and the surrounding community.

Wesley Glen is a private, not for profit agency and ministry of the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. It's based in Macon.
