Attempted robbery gets suspects nothing

Two men were threatened with a pistol in an attempted armed robbery Sunday that netted the suspects nothing.

Columbus police report that Moises Hernandez, 20, and Pablo Manriquez, 31, were in the driveway of 3212 Plateau Drive around 10:15 a.m. when they were approached by two black men. One of them had a pistol, pointing it at Manriquez and striking Hernandez with it.

The men left the scene in a dark blue Mitsubishi Eclipse with Georgia tags. Nothing was reported taken.

One suspect is described as being in his late teens or early 20s, standing about 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighing between 185-200 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt and a blue and white baseball cap.

The other suspect is described as slender and standing about 5-feet, 8-inches tall. He was seen wearing long sleeves.
