Cash and alcohol stolen from Mexican restaurant

A local Mexican restaurant was broken into early Thursday morning, according to a Columbus police report.

Canlice Wang, the owner of Mi Casa Bar and Grill on Woodruff Road told police that at around 2:15 a.m., two men used a brick to break a side window at the restaurant, causing about $300 worth of damage.

The men took $800 in cash and five cases of wine, whiskey and beer, valued at $400, police said.

The suspects are described as two white men, one wearing an Atlanta Braves baseball hat and black clothes and the other wearing dark clothes.

The case remains under investigation.
