Television stolen from restaurant

A Columbus Mexican restaurant is missing a television after someone burglarized the business Thursday morning.

Abraham Escamilla, owner of Tacos El Paisa on South Lumpkin Road, told Columbus police that at around 10 a.m., someone pried open the back door to the restaurant.

A television, valued at $120, and about $300 in cash was taken.

According to a police report, three young black men were seen leaving the rear of the building. The area was searched, but police could not locate the suspects.

The case remains under investigation.
