Columbus woman cut with steak knife

A Columbus woman was assaulted with a steak knife early Saturday morning.

Columbus police responded to a disturbance at a residence on Meade Street at about 3:30 a.m.

According to a police report, officers found Tina Peck, who had sustained a cut on her left arm.

She told police that the suspect, 24-year-old Sharon Grogg, had cut her with a steak knife.

Police arrested Grogg and charged her with aggravated assault.

The case remains under investigation.
