One injured in drive-by shooting

Shots fired Sunday night into a Glenwood Drive home shattered a window and put a shard of glass into a woman's leg.

Mario Alexander, 21, and Mable Kindred, 47, were in their duplex at 11 p.m. when a white Crown Victoria with rims, a burgundy Crown Victoria and an unknown car drove by, Columbus police said. Shots were fired at the time.

Kindred was in bed when a bullet shot through her window, striking the bedroom wall and shattering a lamp. Glass from the lamp broke off and into her left shin, cutting it deeply, police said.

Alexander told police a bullet went through his front window, hitting the living room wall. He was uninjured.
