Two Spencer High students accosted by robbers

Two Spencer High School students told police they were robbed while walking home from school Tuesday.

The two 16-year-old boys were at Engineer and Artillery drives at 3:15 p.m. when two black men, 5-feet-9, weighing 165 pounds and wearing dark clothes approached them and asked if they had any money, Columbus police said.

Both students said they didn't, and they started walking faster. That's when the suspects demanded they empty their pockets.

One of the students had nothing, but the other had $8 in his wallet. One of the men grabbed the money before they both ran.
