Valley police arrest two in Circle K robbery

Valley police arrested two men accused of robbing a gas station Friday morning.

Nicholas Jordan Hilderbrand and Corey James Crabtree, both of Valley, were each charged with first degree robbery.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred at the Circle K on Highway 29 in Valley at around 1 a.m.

According to a police department news release, a masked man brandishing a shotgun entered the store and robbed the cashier of undisclosed amount of cash and a carton of cigarettes.

The suspect then fled on foot to a vehicle that was waiting on Summerhill Road and was driven from the scene by an accomplice, police said.

The suspects were later apprehended and brought to the Valley Police Department, where both confessed to the robbery.
