The 13th Street bridge connecting downtown Columbus to Phenix City was shut down intermittently for a few hours Thursday afternoon, according to the Columbus Police Department.

The bridge’s temporary closure was due to filming for the movie “Razor’s Edge.”

The bridge was expected to be closed from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday with intermittent traffic stops on outside lanes for two-to-three minute increments, according to a post from Columbus police’s Facebook page.

Police warned residents earlier in the day to expect major delays during that time and to find an alternate route. The Dillingham Street Bridge, a few blocks south of the 13th Street Bridge, was still open.
