Linningtin returns to West Point
Brig. Gen. Michael S. Linnington, a 1980 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., is returning to his alma mater.
The former deputy commander and assistant commandant of the U. S. Army Infantry Center and School at Fort Benning, is the new commandant of cadets at West Point.
It will also be a homecoming for Brenda Linnington, who is a 1981 graduate of West Point and served on active duty for five years before she began raising a family. The Linningtons have a son, Michael, and a daughter, Tracy.
Linnington was Maj. Gen. Walt Wojdakowski's top deputy until last September when he was replaced my now Brig. Gen. Milo Miles.
