The Columbus Regional Brain and Spine Center is sponsoring "Stroke Awareness Day" on Saturday.
The event will be 7:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Columbus Regional Conference Center. People can be screened.
The event is free except for a nominal fee that will be charged for lab work.
At 10 a.m. physician Mylena Morton will speak on "Understanding Strokes." There will also be dietitian and nutrionists available.
