Church to show provocative film

Integrity/Chattahoochee Valley will host a screening of the film "For the Bible Tells Me So," which reconciles homosexuality and Biblical scripture. The screening will be at 6:30 p.m. June 27 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church (All Saints Hall). The event is free.

The film shows various persons of faith handling the realization of having a gay child. It also contains voices including Desmond Tutu, Harvard's Peter Gomes, Orthodox Rabbi Steve Greenberg and the Rev. Jimmy Creech.

Founded in 1974, Integrity is a ministry of the Episcopal Church to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
