Robertson elected to state FOP office

Randy Robertson, president of the Columbus chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police, was elected to statewide FOP office last weekend.

Robertson was elected to first vice president. The FOP 325,000 active and retired officers nationally, 5,000 in Georgia and 645 in Columbus and Harris County.

Robertson, who is assigned to Mayor Jim Wetherington's office as director of Homeland Security, has been president of the local FOP chapter for seven years.
