Normally, the sight of two big men, carrying razor-sharp axes, in a grocery store parking lot, would generate more alarm than curiosity.
For shoppers at the Lewis Jones Food Market Wednesday afternoon, however, the sight provided a quick glimpse into the world of the professional lumberjack.
As they watched, lumberjacks David Bolstad of New Zealand and Justin Beckett of Australia took, unofficially, a little over twenty seconds to chop through their respective logs while demonstrating the Underhand Chop, one of eight events they will be competing in this weekend at The Aflac Outdoor Games at the South Commons in Columbus.
