A two-vehicle collision at I-185 and the J.R. Allen Parkway in Columbus is delaying traffic in the interstate's northbound lanes.
The wreck occurring sometime after 2 p.m. involved a white van and a sport-utility vehicle. The SUV appeared extensively damaged. No report of injuries immediately was available. Two Columbus fire trucks still were on the scene at 2:45 p.m.
Northbound motorists may want to choose another route, as the interstate's three left lanes were blocked, leaving only one lane for northbound traffic at the busy interchange.
