The northbound lanes of Interstate 185 were closed today after an SUV went out of control near J.R. Allen Parkway, Columbus police said. A pregnant woman was driving an SUV southbound on I-185 about 12:45 p.m. when the vehicle went over a guardrail and struck a northbound Immigration and Customs Enforcement van.

The accident forced police to close northbound lanes for more than two hours. The lanes were reopened about 3 p.m.

The woman was taken to the hospital for non life threatening injuries.
