Dan Pollin sweeps up loose debris as California Skateparks Inc. welder Joseph Bandura becomes airborne while testing out a bowl during a recent skate session at the Jonathan Hatcher Skateboard Park in Columbus.
California Skateparks foreman Jay McLane says they are ahead of schedule and budget with new approval for an add-on bowl that should be completed along with a steel shelter and cement work for the entrance in one to two months. The city will need to complete some cement work, fencing, lighting and landscaping before it will open to the public.
