Chattahoochee Valley Community College is launching several new programs.
The college will have a new degree and certificate program in medical assisting and will introduce concentrations in phlebotomy and medical transcription.
The college is also launching a new pathway for students interested in nursing. Students do not have to become licensed practical nurses first; they can start without nursing experience and earn an associate's degree in nursing.
