Columbus convenience store robbed this morning

A gas station convenience store on Veterans Parkway in Columbus was robbed this morning.

Columbus Police Sgt. Matt Blackstock said a white man between 25 and 30 years old, weighing approximately 190 pounds and standing about 5-feet 8-inches tall walked into the Olympia Chevron store at 5731 Veterans Parkway and demanded money from the cashier.

The cashier complied and the suspect ran off with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured and it didn't appear the suspect was armed.
