Barron Lee Galbreath, 44, of Columbus, a suspect in the assault of his wife Terry Galbreath, turned himself into Columbus Police this morning at 10:45.
Terry Galbreath was transported to the Medical Center by EMS Thursday for treatment of injuries believed to be the result of a fall down stairs.
Medical personnel determined the injuries were not consistent with a fall and police were called.
Investigators from the Robbery Homicide Unit began an investigation and determined that she had been assaulted and that her husband was a suspect.

Warrants for aggravated assault and aggravated stalking were issued for his arrest.
