A 44-year-old Columbus man turned himself in to police Friday after being named a suspect in an assault on his wife.
Barron Lee Galbreath, 44, is charged with aggravated assault and aggravated stalking.
Terry Galbreath was taken to The Medical Center on Thursday for treatment of injuries at first believed to be the result of a fall down stairs. But doctors there said her injuries weren't consistent with a fall and called police.
Investigators determined that she had been assaulted and that her husband was a suspect.
