Freddie Hart fans had a chance to see him up close Friday when he headlined a show at the Phenix City Amphitheater.
Hart, who scored success with "Easy Lovin'", performed his hits to several hundred fans. Also performing were local musician Garrett Miles, local band Whisky Bent, and Tresa Street, a Nashville-based artist who also sang duets with Hart during the show.
"Easy Lovin'" made history by winning the Country Music Association's Song of the Year for two consecutive years, in 1971 and 1972.
Hart was born in Lochapoka, Ala. and raised with his 14 siblings in Phenix City.
