Military Order holds convention here

The Military Order of the World Wars is a patriotic nonpartican organization that was established in 1919 to promote the welfare of this country.

There are 133 chapters across the nation.

The Columbus chapter is hosting the 88th National MOWW Convention beginning Tuesday and running through Sunday.

Events will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn and the Columbus Convention and Trade Center.

The guest speaker for the banquet on Saturday will be retired Admiral Vernon E. Clark, the 27th Chief of Naval Operations.
