Berry College honors Huff of Columbus

Robert Huff of Columbus has been given the 2008 Distinguished Service Award by the Berry College Alumni Association.

The award is given to someone who has shown selfless service to humanity over and beyond one's normal obligations. The service must have been of significant value although it may have attracted little public attention or recognition.

A volunteer at Magnolia Manor for more than 20 years, Huff was recently honored as Volunteer of the Year by the Georgia State Nursing Home Ascociation.

Huff, a 1951 graduate of Berry College, is an active participant in Meals on Wheels.
