The Muscogee County School District will hold a workshop for high school administrators on helping students become eligible for college sports on Thursday, July 31 at 12 p.m.
The workshop will be hosted by Kristen Davis of Collegiate Eligibility Initiatives at the Daniel Education Center on Manchester Expressway.
The workshop will help administrators understand how they can support student-athletes who want to participate in college sports.

But the process of becoming eligible for college sports requires a thorough understanding of college regulations as well as the cooperation and diligence on the part of the students, the parents and the high school administrators.
Topics at the workshop will include: changes in intercollegiate athletic procedures, review of academic eligibility requirements, best practices and academic eligibility myths and impediments
