High school football begins practice

Chattahoochee Valley high school football teams have begun practicing inpreparation for the 2008 prep season.

Defending state champion Carver High School of Columbus is carrying a15-game winning streak into the season after a perfect record in 2007.

Brookstone, a quarterfinalist in Class A, will be seeking to move deeperinto the playoffs after finishing 11-2 last year.
