The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, West Point Project says there has been an increase of intentional destruction of public property at campgrounds and day use areas surrounding the lake.
Signs and monuments have been spray painted, landscaping removed, windows brokena nd restrooms damaged. Over the last three months, it is estimated there has been more than $4,000 in damage.
The Corps is asking citizens to call 911 and report immediately any vandalism they see being committed.
