Search for Georgia Tech president begins Tuesday

A press release from the Board of Regents of the University of Georgia says that the search for Georgia Tech's new president will begin Tuesday.

A 20-member presidental search committee has been formed.

The Board of Regents has hired R. William Funk and Associates of Dallas, Texas to serve as the firm for the committee.

The search is being conducted to replace G. Wayne Clough who stepped down on June 30 to become the 12th Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.
