Lauren Dean let out a tiny cheer when her stepdad, Scott Floyd, got the television up and running Saturday in her campus housing at CSU's Courtyard Apartments.
The two, along with Dean's mother Charla Floyd, joined hundreds of other incoming freshman and their parents participating in Residence Life's Move-In-Day Saturday.
They were helped by more than one hundred CSU faculty, staff, alumni and student volunteers, all wearing yellow t-shirts, who helped them carry boxes and other personal belongings into their new homes for the upcoming academic year, which begins August 21.
