Columbus Regional cancer luncheon today

More than 1,000 people are expected to attend the annual breast cancer awareness luncheon today at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center.

The year's luncheon, "Breast Cancer Awareness Can Be a Lifesaver," will feature Carmen Agra-Deedy, an international speaker, story teller and award-winning author of children's books.

Local breast cancer survivor Joy Chambers who has been a champion against the disease will be honored.

All proceeds raised during the luncheon will benefit the Foundation's Women's Breat Cancer Support Fund.
