Suspect in Auburn burglary caught

The suspect of a Saturday burglary in Auburn is now behind bars.

Nadia C. Meliani, 25, of Auburn was arrested Sunday and charged with first-degree theft of property and third-degree burglary, Auburn police said. The charges stem from a home burglary on North Donahue Drive, where more than $2,500 in items was stolen. Most of the items have since been recovered, police said.

Meliani is in the Lee County Jail awaiting bond.
