Chips stolen from Hardaway High concession stand

Maybe someone just had the munchies.

Hardaway High School's athletic director Tracy Powell told Columbus police that someone broke into the baseball concession stand at the school on College Drive between Wednesday night and Thursday morning and stole 40 bags of chips.

To get to the chips, the suspect cut a $3,000 security net behind home plate and removed Plexiglas from the south window of the concession stand, according to a police report.

The chips were valued at $20.

The case remains under investigation.
