Two armed men stepped inside Dinglewood Party Shop just as it was about to close Saturday, firing shots before running away with cash.
The suspects, each armed with pistols, stepped inside the business at 1520 Wynnton Road around 11:50 p.m., said Columbus Police Lt. Charles Kennedy.
"Two subjects went in the store, both armed with a handgun," he added.
The men took money from the store's owner, firing two shots inside the business. One bullet hit the bottom of a counter. The other went into a wall.
"They fired another shot after they fled," Kennedy said. That bullet hasn't been found.
No one was injured during the robbery.
One suspect is described as a black man, standing 5-foot-6 and weighing 220 pounds. He was wearing black pants, a shirt and a bandana across part of his face. He carried a black semi-automatic pistol.
The second suspect is described as a black man standing 5-foot-10 and weighing 145 pounds. He also was wearing black pants, a shirt and a bandana. He carried a pistol, Kennedy said.
The men were last seen running into Overlook Club Apartments.
