Professional photographer and college photography instructor Joe Maher will teach how to get eye-popping shots of nature's flora and fauna.
The workshop is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center, 3535 S. Lumpkin Road.
Maher has spent the better part of a decade working in the tropical rain forests of Panama and Costa Rica, guiding students and scientists into the canopy.
He will teach people that you don't have to have thousands of dollars invested in a camera. A simple "point-and-shoot" can do just a good a job.
