A Columbus man wanted for a slaying two years old was arrested Sunday in South Carolina.

Dundell Cash, 42, was sought in the Nov. 11, 2006, death of Euan John Dougal, 25, outside of the Platinum Club, said Columbus Police Lt. Lynn Joiner. He was arrested around 4 p.m. after a Loris, S.C., police officer stopped him for a traffic violation.

Once the officer realized Cash had outstanding warrants, he was taken to the jail in Conway, S.C., where he'll be held until extradited to Georgia.

Joiner said Cash has already waived extradition.

At the time, witnesses had seen Cash and Dougal arguing while standing on the sidewalk in front of the Platinum Club on Manchester Expressway, police said. Cash pulled a handgun and allegedly shot Dougal multiple times, mostly in the abdomen, at point-blank range. Dougal was unarmed.
